April 27th- May 1st Chapter 12 Lesson 3: Government Financing

1. Go on to Pearson Realize you will see after you have logged on the assignments (Remember click classes, then assignments). This week is Chapter 12 Lesson 3: Government Financing
with our Lesson Objectives are 

A. Explain how the Constitution gives Congress the power to tax and at the same time places limits on that power, as well as, how government taxation and regulation can serve as restrictions to private enterprise.
B. Identify the sources of revenue of the U.S. government today, including both tax and nontax revenues. Such a great connection to what is currently going on with the pandemic.

C. Go and complete all assignments and the corresponding exit ticket for this section on taxation.

I would suggest copying the questions down in a google doc and entering your responses before submitting your exit ticket for Chapter 12 lesson 3.

with our Essential Question for this topic: "What is the proper role of government in the economy?" Such a great connection to what is currently going on with the pandemic.

2. I am going to assign by class period Chapter 12 section 1 "Types of Economic Systems" which aligns very well with what we are experiencing. This will be there once you login to the online textbook.We will work through this to get started.

3. Pay attention to the economics of the Covid-19 pandemic, so go look at your stocks and see how they are reacting based on political and social issues. We will examine this further.
4. Our goal is to continue learning with the state standards, I want to make sure that you are hitting the learning targets and able to answer essential questions. I will be making sure to track formative assessments through Google Forms which I will also link in for the day/weeks work.
