I hope you all are well. I know this is going to take some time to figure out and we will ease into learning this week. I also promise to record a "Louie story" and post it here on Wednesday. We have identified times to have Zoom meetings. I will post each class period's information of the meeting the morning of. These meetings will be reoccurring every week, please try to attend if you can.

This week we are going to ease into this. Here is what I would like for you to have done.

2. I am going to assign by class period Chapter 12 section 1 "Types of Economic Systems" which aligns very well with what we are experiencing. This will be there once you login to the online textbook.We will work through this to get started.

3. Pay attention to the economics of the Covid-19 pandemic, so go look at your stocks and see how they are reacting based on political and social issues. We will examine this further.

4. Our goal is to continue learning with the state standards, I want to make sure that you are hitting the learning targets and able to answer essential questions. I will be making sure to track formative assessments through Google Forms which I will also link in for the day/weeks work.

Information for the students during the COVID Pandemic.

All, as we are in preparation for this distance learning we know there are going to be some bugs along the way.

2. Make sure that you are signed up on remind (remind app, that get notifications).This is the best way to push out important information. Listed below are the class join codes:

3. Make sure you check this website for everything regarding the class. I will post on here primarily. Make sure you have this site bookmarked.

4. Please visit the site: zoom.com or download the app in the chrome store. This is a way to have class via video. I don't plan on using this often however I will be available for questions or concerns. I do plan on holding an initial one for the entire class for us to practice.

5. If you have work that you have not done, you may still turn it in electronically. via email: jim.reed@washougalsd.org

VOTING this week is ELECTION WEEK.

This week you are expected to go through the ballot. We are going to vote in cooperation with the Secretary of State of Washington, Kim Wyman. You will only be given one paper ballot so be responsible and don't lose it. If you do it is your responsibility to print off another not Reed's.
